I paid for 3 day shipping, I would expect it in that 3 days. But then I received a email saying that the item was unavailable at the time, and will ship from the manufacturer when made. I question my 3 day charge, and they said it would still be 3 day shipping from the Tim it is made.

I could have paid $100 more going through another company for 2 day delivery from purchase date, but figured I would save that money and take 3 day with this company, but they cannot tell me when it will arrive.

They say they refunded me, but I have still not seen it.

Nor have I seen my order, they keep saying it will shipped from the manufacturer.

ordered wheels and tires on July 9th, was told 2, 3 times when icould expect them and now said wont be till sept 1st... really got screwed on this one.... if yoy sell something you should deliver i dont care what it takes.... ill find another place to do business..

Long story short, stay away from etrailer.com..charged me for part they couldn't find and refuse to refund it. Classy...don't bother even trying to call them because not one employee knows anything about anything. They just make stuff up to get you off the phone.

Wrong Parts

I called to get the specific fifth wheel for my GMC truck and was told it would be at my door prior to the weekend of the week I ordered. I was very pleased. The part arrives and the nightmare begins with etrailer. They sent me the wrong part. So the trip I paid in advance for parking my new trailer cannot be recovered. Their response - sorry, but YOU need to send back the part by taking it down to a shipper. I have to do their work at no cost discount or any other means of saying that they screwed up. Now the wrong box I received says 1 of 2. I said am I getting another wrong part that i have to deal with - their response "well maybe." Thank you etrailer for costing my $225 for a camping spot I can't use and messing up my Father's Day weekend. Etrailer doesn't care about their customers at all - stay far away as customer service is terrible.

Do NOT order from this company! Read this because it's hard to believe. I ordered a Yakima Bike Rack for my Jeep. I filled in the order information meticulously and, as a compny operator said, correctly. With my car spare tire apart in pieces in my driveway, they told me on the phone, "Oh yes, I guess it only fits the JK model." And THEN said I could send it back and they would give me a credit MINUS the return postage....I would have to pay for that. How much do you think postage would cost for a 40lb. bikerack? Sound unbelievable....me paying for their error? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Happy with product, not with returns

Ordered trailer springs, but upon inspection, noticed the leaves were thinner than the original. According to their return policy, they don't do exchanges, you reorder the new item and make arrangements to return the previous ones. That's what I did. They also claim to have a "60 day no questions asked return policy." After sending three emails and getting absolutely no response, I called. They said there was a 'glitch' and would correct it, then email me a return label. That was yesterday, Monday morning, here it is Tuesday afternoon, nothing yet. My next step will be to file a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General's office. Doing an internet search, there is a vast amount of negative reviews about this company.

'Selling' items they don't actually have!

I found a replacement key for a cargo compartment on their website. I read the page, read every page going through my purchase, even paid extra for faster shipping as I need the key before the 30th (it is the 22nd) and submitted my order. I received an email about 20 minutes later stating that the order was 'in transit' to a distribution facility and should SHIP in the 'next 7 days'. I replied to this email stating there was no excessive handling time stated anywhere on the item listing and that was ridiculous. If it couldn't be here before the 30th I wanted to cancel my order. I received a reply by another representative stating the shipment hadn't even arrived from the manufacturer and it wouldn't be coming to them until AUGUST. Again, there were ZERO indications anywhere on the website that this item was backordered, waiting on shipments, would take a longer time to arrive, etc etc. My order has been canceled by them at this point and I went to a different retailer who is selling things they have IN STOCK and AVAILABLE to be shipped NOW.

Very poor, took two weeks for my hitch to arrive, then it will not fit and etrailler is refusing to make things right. I now have to go through my credit card company to file an appeal.

Where to start. I went to Etrailer and put in 2004 Toyota Rav4. I saw a 22" , 19" combo for $15 and some change. I clicked on that and added it to cart, took a screenshot, and checked out. I finally received the package and pull out two 26" wipers. I immediately looked at an email they sent me that said ordered placed for two 22" wipers. I was thinking, how can that be? My screenshot shows exactly what I ordered. I am thinking glitch in system that when you hit a code it actually goes to another product. It's like looking through google and seeing a pair of boots. When you open the page it's something entirely different. Well that's what seems to have happened. I email the company and tell them exactly what happened. I send an attachment of the screenshot. I get a response that their system shows that I ordered two of the 22" wipers and sends me a link of what I should have ordered. I opened the link and it's wipers for a Hybrid. I email back and tell them that is for a Hybrid. I get another response that says, I only sent you that link to show you what you ordered, and they send another link. I open this link and it's a combo but it's for $30. I email back and say 1). You told me first, this is what I should have ordered and I tell you that you sent me a link for a Hybrid, Then you send me another link saying you only sent me that link to say that is what I did order so which one is it? 2.) I then tell them they did not acknowledge that I sent a screenshot and that you didn't even send me what you claim I ordered. You sent me two 26" wipers. Then I get a response saying the link was just different options to choose from. (WHAT?) and that they never got an attachment. (REALLY? what email are you responding too? (You can't respond to an email and say you didn't receive it. It's in the email you are responding too.) So now they know about sending me two 26" wipers but tell me I am responsible for returning them because they have no control over if the system makes a mistake and sends out the wrong product. I went through PayPal. Called them after tired of dealing with these scammers. I got my money back right away. Now get this. So Rebecca, not sure what her title is saw my review and wanted to make things right. So I thought. She asked for the pictures of what I recieved. (Finally someone asked) I sent them to her. You would think now she would apologize for everyone messing up. Nope she said well I'm sure so and so didn't intend to miss the part where you told her you received 26" blades and not what you ordered. She gave me two options. She will give me a return label and I can return the blades and get a PayPal credit or she can just send me out the blades I need. Great, I choose new blades because that's what I need. Shen then replies okay we will ship out new blades, and please return the wrong ones back. You have 14 days once you receive the label. She just went back on what she said. What happened to Either/Or? and still no apology! Unbelievable. I even told her that she doesn't admit anything. I just want someone to admit they messed up. I told it was an insult and she still tried to cover up by saying I apologize, I did not mean to upset you. Still did not admit they messed up.

Just keep the part and my money

They sent the wrong part and blamed me for the oversight without listening to the facts. When I sent inquiries all that is returned is canned responses and no help whatsoever. Avoid doing business with this group at all COST.

Shipping charge ripoff and poor customer service

I ordered a hitch and a bike rack on May 29th. When I placed the order at about 2 pm I was told the hitch was on back order and would be shipped in about 7 days.

But then I received an email at 9:49 pm the same day (5/29) saying the item has already shipped. I tried to call to cancel the order but there was no answer at 10 pm. So I sent an email to cancel the order that same night at around 11:15 pm. This morning (5/30) I received an email back saying that I have to go through the RMA process and pay $63 for shipment.

So the item goes from back order to being shipped so fast that they can't cancel the order. Because there is no tracking information from US, I think they probably only created the paperwork and did not actually ship the product yet, so the $63 charge for shipment is a complete ripoff.

DO NOT BUY HERE

Ordered a tailgate bottle opener in January for a valentines day gift. STILL *** waiting.

Asked for a refund, and they refuse. HORRIBLE COMPANY, DO NOT BUY HERE, consumer beware! I keep receiving e-mails of new dates then another new date then another new date. This company sucks, plain and simple.

They have zero customer service and have made NO attempt to right THEIR wrong. This is a terrible company and I will never buy here again and I will do my best to make sure no one else gets ripped off either. I hope these reviews ruin their company and everyone gets fired.

How can anyone associated with this company sleep at night knowing damn well they are ripping people off left and right. Good Riddens

We ordered a license frame and the lettering fell off in a less then a month. The car had not gone through the car wash, no contact with anything..... the letters just started to fall off. Very poor quality. At $30 dollars we expected to have a product that didn't fall apart. We also had to pay to return this item. We should have known better after reading a review that stated the buyer had to repaint the lettering. We will not order from them again. Please learn from our mistake. DO NOT ORDER THIS INFERIOR PRODUCT. The review requires a minimum of one hundred words sorry this is so long but in order for it to be accepted. 100 it is.

Bought 7 pin trailer plug and they do not use standard colors for wiring.( Green is right yellow is left etc.) I received the part with no diagram or warning of non standard colors. They would not refund $38 for my 1 hour troubleshooting and many fuses. I have 6 trailers and will be buying parts elsewhere. They lost me as a repeat customer for years. I have already found the correct parts for my other 5 trailers from an honest supplier. Their molded plug also comes with a waterproof junction box. If $38 dollars is too much to ask from a large corporation, then they obviously do not care about their customers because money in their pocket is more important than customers.
