Etrailer - Curt Weight Distribution Hitch Review
Horrible! Avoid at all cost
Ordered a Max Air RV fan and a Vent cover. Total was $150.
Waited 16 days for order to ship. I called multiple times and got the run around. First I was told the shipping department was behind and my order would ship asap. Then a week later I was told they didn't have the parts I ordered.
I ask why are you selling products you do not have in stock, no answer. Called again and they lied and said the shipping was behind again. I cancelled my order.I have no idea how they stay in business. Just google etrailer reviews they have an awful reputation.
Go to ebay or amazon. Etrailer is a scam!
Roof rack that I ordered did not even exist.

Worthless waranty
Will not stand behind their products. Very friendly until something goes wrong and then will not budge or help.
Took over 1 month of back and forth emails. Sending pictures of the defective item. At the end of the day they said "it should be safe". My family's safety is at stake.
Worthless to make a warranty or "100% satisfaction" policy if they don't honor it. Worst company and service from any online retailer ever. A brick and mortar shop would never treat customers with such disrespect and apathy. Amazed they are still in business.
A complete and total waste of time and energy. Shop elsewhere...

Horrible Ordering System
I ordered a trailer hitch, ball and wiring system all in one combo on Monday the 17th from etrailer.com. My card was charged immediately. They sent me an email 3 days later on the 20th stating the order was cancelled "due to security reasons" LOL. You tell me this 3 days later when I have already hired someone to come to my house on Saturday and install the trailer hitch. You don't even bother to call and make sure I know my orders been cancelled.
"We are unable to process the order you placed for security reasons. The shipping and/or billing address you provided is not on file with your credit card issuer."
Well you sure as *** took the money out of my checking account with no problem. So I call them as soon as I get this email from them and after 30 minutes on hold am told sorry, there is nothing we can do. They were unwilling to offer me free expedited shipping to get the order here by the weekend or anything else. Saying I'm sorry that happened, so and so must not have called you. I am very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. Still waiting on their response as to getting my money refunded, I was told that the accounting person is out until Monday and it will be a few days after that before the refund hits my account. So unprofessional, also they don't stock anything themselves. They are a re-seller/drop shipper so they couldn't ship anything out themselves. Only someone at another warehouse could do that.

Etrailer.com Shipped My Order with NO Address - Now Giving Me Difficulty with Refund
Etrailer.com shipped my package with no address, then refused to give me a refund after package was returned to them by USPS. Customer service is rude, and treats customers like garbage.
I placed the order on 11/3/2016 and as of today, 11/21/2016 - they have not refunded my money. I contacted etrailer.com and received numerous rude, patronizing replies that stated they could not refund my money until they receive the item back. I never saw, received, touched, or was near the item. USPS simply returned the unaddressed item to sender.
Tracking shows that the item is 1Z7586X3YW2899****. I should receive a refund whether or not etrailer.com ever receives the item back and my refund should not be contingent upon them receiving the item as the item was technically never shipped to me. The worst part of this whole experience is the veracity and rudeness with which etrailer.com has responded to my emails. They are blaming me because they shipped an item without an address on it.
The label only had my city, state, and zip code. No house number or address. This was my first and last interaction with etrailer.com and I highly recommend that other prospective customers just order from amazon.
The people who work at etrailer.com lack ethics, practical thinking, and customer service skills. They are a very shady company, and they care more about $25 in merchandise than they do about retaining a customer.
