Do not buy steering shock to center steering

I just bought a new steering shock to keep my 20016 Rv in the center when driving it down the road it is all over the road I spent $400. for nothing because it does not work save your money and by something else there product is junk .I talk to etrailer and they gave me now help . before I bought this product there person said it would take care of the problem that I have it will keep your RV in the center and keep it from getting pushed off the road witch did not help like they said so now that I am $400 in the hole now I have to buy something else but it will not be bought from E-Trailer , they said I need front end checked that I did stabilizer bars front and rear that is on rear trax bar that I put on . this problem still does the same thing .

Ordered kodiak disc brake kits. The kits finally came 2 weeks later in the proper box, but wrong parts. Customer service said they could not believe me unless I sent pics. I send pics and was told I would get a response within 48 hrs. Never received response. Shelly and Ashley at etrailer customer service didn't know what a disc brake was and refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. They also told me to not call back that I would hear from someone. Never have received any contact. John is a supervisor, he won't answer nor return calls or emails. They have my debit card payment and won't except the return product or any responsibility for it. I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent me a new kit and had ups to pick up the return kit. Still unresolved if I get a refund from etrailer or not. They have the worst of everything especially customer service. I will be contacting an attorney to get my refund.

Wrong Wheel Shipped

I ordered a 6 lug 15" steel wheel and received a 14" 4 lug wheel. Emailed them and have spent two days trying to reach them on the phone. No response. The picture of their call center is clearly fake. Nobody is home in Wentzville Mo ! I have ordered a 2017 Mazda cx-5 hitch with the intention to use it with in the week. A week goes by and I decided to call customer service to see my package statues and when I call they decide to tell me that my product is out of stock and would have to wait 2 weeks for it to come in. They should have put it on there website saying it was out of stock. I am very disappointed with the way they manage there website and would not recommend them

Etrailer - Curt Weight Distribution Hitch Review
I ordered a new Curt Weight Distribution System from etrailer and received this open item box with missing parts. I am sure the Curt system is great but etrailer has not acknowledged any of my emails or calls. They keep deferring a response and cite a being extremely busy, apparently too busy to resolve my issue. I've had to delay a camping trip and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in St. Louis against etrailer. Awaiting response and refund or receipt of missing parts. Too bad cause they have good prices but don't risk it, too many customer service issues.

Horrible! Avoid at all cost

Ordered a Max Air RV fan and a Vent cover. Total was $150.

Waited 16 days for order to ship. I called multiple times and got the run around. First I was told the shipping department was behind and my order would ship asap. Then a week later I was told they didn't have the parts I ordered.

I ask why are you selling products you do not have in stock, no answer. Called again and they lied and said the shipping was behind again. I cancelled my order.I have no idea how they stay in business. Just google etrailer reviews they have an awful reputation.

Go to ebay or amazon. Etrailer is a scam!

Roof rack that I ordered did not even exist.

I recently ordered a Rola roof rack for my 2010 Toyota Matrix and my credit card was immediately charged for this purchase. Several days later I received an email from an etrailer representative stating that the product was still in production and that there was no estimate as to when it would be available. So, it appears that etrailer is currently selling products on their website that do not even exist yet or they do not even plan on shipping. I am currently waiting for a refund but do not have my hopes up. These people are obviously out to get your dollars and nothing else. Don't even think about attempting to purchase anything from these unethical lizards. Avoid like the plague and please take your business elsewhere!

Sent wrong hitch

I ordered a hitch 3 weeks before I my scheduled vacation to the Florida keys, always give myself plenty of time. A week later the hitch is delivered, one problem wrong hitch, called customer service on the spot. Assured me they would have a new one out that very day. 5 days later get an email telling me they found one in Texas , I called and said you told me it was already on its way. Long story short the hitch shows up Thursday afternoon the day before vacation. So yes had to install that evening . The company did nothing to compensate. Trailer Lights - T-Connector for a "1996" Toyota Camry LE 2.2 sedan

1.) This was the First time I’ve ever ordered something online that Did Not have a Printed Receipt in the box. 2.) This T-Connector did Not Look like it was the right fit so, I drove to the nearest Toyota Dealership & had a Mechanic at the Service Center take a look at it. He came out to my car, examined the Wiring Assembly in my Trunk, compared the part to my car’s hookups & said, “Clearly they sent you the Wrong Part”, this is for a 1997 Camry as Listed on it's Packaging. "So it was Never Plugged" in since a Square peg can't fit into a Round Hole !. And the Toyota Dealer Mechanic suggested I find a U-Haul specializing in Tail Light Hook Ups; After several phone calls = U-Haul Part - Installation & 2 Yr Warranty = $94. 3.) Apparently this was a “Previously Returned” item, as there was tape around the top of the original packaging which was already cut & Re-taped Before I opened it. 4.) I paid $4.99 for shipping - the return shipping charge of $11.11. = $6.12 more than I Originally paid. Adding Insult to Injury I must drive 3 towns away to the nearest UPS store in order to return it. 5.) I ordered the $29.88 part 3-1-2017 - Received it 3-7-2017 & using the emailed Return Label on 3-31-2017 = 25 days - UPS tracking shows that ETRAILER received it 4-4-2017 = 29 days from my door back to their door. They send me the Wrong Part & only refund me $13.78 of my $29.88. = I just Flushed $16.01 Down the Toilet ! I realize that doesn't sound like much, it would if U were Disabled & Subsisted on as TINY an Income as I do. Needless to say, that’s my One & will be the Only experience I ever have with them. I'm A VERY Unhappy Customer ! Amber of Texas.

I had interaction with the parts folks at E-Trailer and had a very good experience. The conversation was over the phone and they were very helpful, found the part I needed and shipped it immediately. I was very satisfied with my experience with them at this point. The price was very competitive and actually less expensive than ordering on Amazon. I had it in my possession in 2 days. Very nice. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the near future as I am always looking for a good supplier for the many parts I need on a weekly basis. The online catalog is very helpful for most of their inventory items which helped me locate the item I needed. Plus they have photos of most of their parts, which really helped in locating the exact part I needed.

Wrong Hitch Battered

Etrailer - Wrong Hitch Battered
I ordered a replacement hitch for my GMC Sierra. The hitch arrived with the shipping box torn, re-taped and the hitch scratched up. After several emails they weren't going to do anything for me. With a trip coming up I needed to get this new hitch on my truck. After I removed the original hitch from my truck I unpacked the new one. It clearly wasn't going to fit. Then I checked the part number, not even close to the one I ordered. I paid for one costing $210 they sent one costing $150 and not for my truck. When i contacted customer service they said I would have to prove they sent the wrong part number. Took a picture and sent it. They said they will send a replacement via standard shipping. I asked for expedited shipping due to my upcoming trip, they said no.

Will not stand behind their products. Very friendly until something goes wrong and then will not budge or help.

Took over 1 month of back and forth emails. Sending pictures of the defective item. At the end of the day they said "it should be safe". My family's safety is at stake.

Worthless to make a warranty or "100% satisfaction" policy if they don't honor it. Worst company and service from any online retailer ever. A brick and mortar shop would never treat customers with such disrespect and apathy. Amazed they are still in business.

A complete and total waste of time and energy. Shop elsewhere...

I ordered a trailer hitch, ball and wiring system all in one combo on Monday the 17th from etrailer.com. My card was charged immediately. They sent me an email 3 days later on the 20th stating the order was cancelled "due to security reasons" LOL. You tell me this 3 days later when I have already hired someone to come to my house on Saturday and install the trailer hitch. You don't even bother to call and make sure I know my orders been cancelled.

"We are unable to process the order you placed for security reasons. The shipping and/or billing address you provided is not on file with your credit card issuer."

Well you sure as *** took the money out of my checking account with no problem. So I call them as soon as I get this email from them and after 30 minutes on hold am told sorry, there is nothing we can do. They were unwilling to offer me free expedited shipping to get the order here by the weekend or anything else. Saying I'm sorry that happened, so and so must not have called you. I am very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. Still waiting on their response as to getting my money refunded, I was told that the accounting person is out until Monday and it will be a few days after that before the refund hits my account. So unprofessional, also they don't stock anything themselves. They are a re-seller/drop shipper so they couldn't ship anything out themselves. Only someone at another warehouse could do that.

Etrailer - Customer Care Review

Went there and opened an account for a business to make servicing trailers easier for parts guy behind the counter didn't give a *** kept telling me it's at least 4 hours to pick a part while he was sitting there eating a bag of cookies and drinking a soda behind the counter made me wait over an hour for a center cap and finally complained enough and he said well I have to go hot pic this part so he actually had to get up and go to the warehouse and pull the part off the shelf then he made me wait an hour and a half for still never came back up to the counter so I left wow can't believe the customer service is that horrible realize I just opened an account with them today and that's my first experience you would think they would put an act on at least for the first day right

Etrailer.com Shipped My Order with NO Address - Now Giving Me Difficulty with Refund

Etrailer.com shipped my package with no address, then refused to give me a refund after package was returned to them by USPS. Customer service is rude, and treats customers like garbage.

I placed an online order. Etrailer.com received it, charged me, and then proceeded to ship the item without a proper address label.

I placed the order on 11/3/2016 and as of today, 11/21/2016 - they have not refunded my money. I contacted etrailer.com and received numerous rude, patronizing replies that stated they could not refund my money until they receive the item back. I never saw, received, touched, or was near the item. USPS simply returned the unaddressed item to sender.

Tracking shows that the item is 1Z7586X3YW2899****. I should receive a refund whether or not etrailer.com ever receives the item back and my refund should not be contingent upon them receiving the item as the item was technically never shipped to me. The worst part of this whole experience is the veracity and rudeness with which etrailer.com has responded to my emails. They are blaming me because they shipped an item without an address on it.

The label only had my city, state, and zip code. No house number or address. This was my first and last interaction with etrailer.com and I highly recommend that other prospective customers just order from amazon.

The people who work at etrailer.com lack ethics, practical thinking, and customer service skills. They are a very shady company, and they care more about $25 in merchandise than they do about retaining a customer.
