Etrailer was contacted that I received my order missing parts. Their solution is for me to pay, based on my UPS estimate, almost $45.00 to return what they sent to me before sending me the complete order.

Order a mounting kit for my Westin Grille Guard and received what looked like a product that had been previously opened and repackaged by etrialer. It was missing all the product manufacturer's packaging.

Also what I did receive was missing one of the two mounting brackets. Etrailer customer service was hard to reach with long wait times. When I finally did get to speak to someone I was asked to take photos of what I received so they could correct the problem for me and improve their service. I was then ghosted by the customer service rep and after several days I had to follow up with them again.

I then advised I needed to make a warranty claim for the missing items and pay at my own expense to return what parts I had received prior to them sending any replacement for my initial order. Checking with UPS it will cost me almost as much as the cost of my initial order to sent the parts back. Unfortunately this has turned out to be a really bad experience and I will not be a return customer, and I have bought many items from them over the years.

Etrailer seems to have little regard to customer satisfaction and service. They don't deliver what you ordered and refuse to make their mistakes right short of you have to pay to return their mistake!

This place is not as nice as it seems

The worst job I ever had. They will ship something, knowing it's broken, and say it was during transit.

They don't care about the employees.

They will literally just use Rust-Oleum on rusted or damaged products and still ship them out. I'd look at other options before this place, not just as a customer but also as an employee.

Extremely overcharged for a product

We had purchased a new RV hand assist handle from a different company. When we went to install it, we discovered that it needed shims.

So, I went to the etrailer site and found them. I have bought things from them before. Keep in mind, this handle has 2 mounting brackets. We ordered what we thought would be 2 shims.

They charged $18.73 plus shipping. The package came in a timely manner, but to my surprise, there was just 1 shim in the package. So, I called and talked to a customer service rep and said that they only sent 1. She said, 'Yes, that's right.

If you wanted 2, you had to order 2.' So, I called the company that the handle came from, and they had them for $3.00 plus shipping. So, I called etrailer back, and she said, 'Well, you can ship it back to us at your cost, and we will refund you minus the shipping that you paid to have it shipped to you!' What a racket—a markup of $15.73 that costs $3.00 somewhere else. They could have made it right and offered to send us the second one, which should have been in the package to begin with. So, they have definitely lost a customer, and I am here to warn others about this company.

Upcharged me for a product I didn't want and refused to take it back.

I inform you that www.etrailer.com has incorrectly supplied a 5th-wheel hitch for my new truck. Despite my repeated attempts to have them resolve the issue, they have not done so.

After consulting the Better Business Bureau (BBB), I discovered that a complaint has been filed against them, which makes me question their commitment to customer satisfaction. The hitches are heavy shipped via LTL Freight and delivered in two pieces. They are now attempting to charge me for return shipping and a restocking fee despite the product being still new and in its original packaging. They have only offered me the option of selling the incorrectly supplied component online myself!

I am highly dissatisfied and will not conduct further business with this company. In summary, I strongly advise against doing business with www.etrailer.com.

Terrible customer service

I order a rack for my truck and received it only to find out that the cross bars are to short. I called etrailer to report the issue.

They indicated that I didnt order correctly when in fact I put in the make, model and year. I just wanted the correct cross bars and they indicated that the manufacture couldn't send only the bars. They deal directly with the manufacture so saying that is ridiculous. So I ended up buying complete rack again and to ship the bars that I have back with new shipment.

The second order to fix my situation was placed a week ago with no tracking number. A week went by before it was shipped. I called once to inquire about it and was told that the manufacture was direct shipping and that I should recieve it tomorrow.

I cald the day it was to arrive only to find out that it will be shipped the next day A WEEK to ship and they filled me with miss information. Stay away from this company, they can care less about your needs!

Received a trailer light which was not what I wanted. They sent me a return sticker and I sent it back. It was never opened. Purchase price was just over $21. They refunded me $1.70. Never again!

The refund was received after being charged over $13 for shipping. Apparently, they deducted the tax and initial shipping fee. It's a sad way to encourage return business.

I ordered a rack for my truck and they sent me the wrong rails. There was not a guaranteed fit for my truck, but there was nothing that came up on their website when I placed the order.

They sent a shorter length rail than I ordered, but they refused to refund the shipping when I sent them back.

I will not use this company again. Beware!

Not impressed with product or service

Purchase a left side 'mirror towing extension'. When I purchased it, I provided year (1994), make (Ford) and model (F350) and was presented with 1 option, which looked good.

Awesome. When I received it, it was obviously not correct. (Too big, doesn't fit). When I chatted with support, it was my fault because it wasn't confirmed to fit my vehicle.

She argued with me when I disagreed. When I went to URL of part that she says does fit, it was a replacement mirror, not an extension. Charging me for the return label and $16.50 for shipping. BOO.

Train your support reps.

This was terrible. Verify your parts inventory matches vehicle requirements.

Never received my product I ordered from this dishonest company. Would never recommend them.

They said it would arrive Feb 4th and still haven't gotten it.

Now they say they don't know when I will get it, and it will take over 14vdays to even process a refund . Ridiculous

I have spent a lot of money with etrailer over the last few years. About six months ago we replaced the electric brake assy's and drums on a customers trailer.

The customer brought the trailer back for the brakes not working. We found the magnets dug deep grooves in the drums the likes we have never seen so the magnets were not making good contact. We replaced the drums and brake assy's at no charge to the customer. With the new parts, the brakes worked perfectly.

After going back and forth with etrailer they will not warranty the parts.

Whether they believe me that the parts failed or not I was shocked this is how they would treat a long time regular customer. We will be finding a new source for our trailer parts.

I contacted Mike of Etrailer. I informed him of my Air Bed purchased

From Etrailer.

Paid exorbitant of money for a LOUSY product. I told Mike what he can do and his company to resolve my issues. As of now, September 7 NO REPLY! I purchased a lot of things from this vendor and will be my LAST purchase with Etrailer.

Never used the air mattress.

Look at the bulge everywhere. You will DESTROY your body posture!
